Splash-proof PEV charging point 16 A/250 Vac with earth, child safety and with plug-in terminals, excluding surface-mounted box, grey. Protective cover: Each wall socket is completely covered by an upward-hinged protective cover. A spring and a fastening hook keep the protective flap firmly closed. The socket outlet contains sockets with a large contact surface that do not rest on the base for clamping.

The sockets are equipped with plug-in terminals with release for clamping the wires. The unlocks are operated manually or with a screwdriver from the front. All terminals are located on the top of the base and can hold up to 4 x 2.5 mm² of wire. The earthing terminal even up to 2 x 2.5 mm² + 2 x 4 mm². The dismantling length (14 mm) of the wires is indelibly applied to the back of the pedestal. The base has two rectangular niches at the bottom for the integration of a lighting element. In the left niche (front view) a lighting element with wires can be placed.

At the back, the base is equipped with round recesses that ensure that the automatic lighting element makes direct contact with the mechanism when clicked in and is thus immediately connected correctly. The function is placed in a splash-proof surface-mounting box. The function has a molded seal and seals hermetically on the custom box.

Wiring space: Two laterally placed holders in the box grip the mechanism. A snap connection holds the wired mechanism in place. Under the mechanism, 15.7 mm of wiring space remains. The lid has a moulded seal and seals hermetically on the custom box. The socket outlet is made of impact-resistant, dust-resistant, halogen-free and self-extinguishing polypropylene (UL94-V2/1.6 mm). The protective cover is made of dimensionally stable ABS. The wall socket has a protective earth in high-quality brass.
