Splashproof Niko Hydro surface-mounted box, designed for safe and durable installation in demanding environments. The box features two single, flexible cable entries, making it easy to insert conduits without compromising the protection rating. It is suitable for installing one to three functions, such as switches or sockets, making it flexible for both residential and industrial applications.
The Niko Hydro surface-mounted box is available in three colors – white, gray, and black – so it can be aesthetically matched to various surfaces and environments. The mounting points are 50 mm apart and aligned on a vertical axis. These dimensions are indelibly stamped on the bottom of each box, simplifying assembly and helping to prevent errors during installation.
Thanks to the oval screw openings, the box can accommodate small deviations in the drill holes, providing additional installation tolerance and reducing installation time. An integrated seal, secured with a press-fit, guarantees both the required degree of moisture protection and double insulation, contributing to a high level of electrical safety.
In addition, the surface-mounted box features two diagonally positioned, knock-out condensation vents. These allow for controlled drainage of condensation, if necessary, and thus extend the lifespan of the electrical components.
The Niko Hydro surface-mounted box is made of high-quality polypropylene that is impact-resistant, dust-resistant, halogen-free, and self-extinguishing. The material meets fire safety class UL94-V2 with a wall thickness of 1.6 mm, ensuring a robust construction and reliable operation under varying conditions.
